I felt so sad as a Nigerian, when information got to me, that no fewer than four vehicles and other property, belonging to members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were destroyed in an alleged revenge attack by supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gona town of Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.
According to information, the development took place, when a convoy of the APC governorship candidate, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, was on its way to Billiri for a campaign rally.
I think it is imperative to state at this point, that politics of bitterness should be set aside. A situation where party supporters would now be so free to use dangerous weapons in order to out weight each other should not be tolerated by the appropriate authorities.
