One stands to be corrected, that today may have been the very first time, General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is coming out in the public, to reveal that most Nigerian politics are liars and hardly fulfil their promises.
May be because the renowned clergy is somewhat close to virtually all the politicians on the reason that most of them comes to him for all kinds of prayers.
Pastor Adeboye may even have taken many Nigerian politicians by surprise, when he added that he no longer have trust in them.
The clergy while speaking at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State in a two-day interdenominational prayer argued that, "I don’t trust politicians; politicians are liars. They don’t fulfil most of their promises.
"A politician can tell you that they will give all of you (students) chicken each, which we all know it is impossible.
"Stop disturbing yourself about who will be the President of Nigeria. God has already planned who will be the President of Nigeria.
"God has already planned that before we were born. God is not like human beings, who doubts what is to be done. He has plan for everything."
