I woke up this morning to the alarm raised by the leadership of Nigeria's main opposition party; The All Progressives Congress (APC), that there was an attempt on the life of its National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun at his Abuja residence.
What I feel is that the kind of politics being practiced in Nigeria is such that one person must die for the other.
One may not be far from the truth, that the assassination attempt on the APC chieftain is politically motivated and it cannot be otherwise.
Why is this happening at this point in time when the 2015 poll is just around the corner.
The truth must be told, that the police should swing into action and bring those behind this distardly act to book.
