Foolish Jonathan?

I must say with respect, that if there is anyone who should fit in into the adjective "FOOLISH", I think our dear President Goodluck Jonathan fits into this slogan.

The reason is not far fetched. The fact that he visited former Nigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo, at his Abeokuta residence in Ogun State, Nigeria, apparently to hold a secret meeting with Obasanjo, shows that Jonathan is not in control of the presidency.

Obasanjo who was said to have left his residence around 3pm, refused to attend the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential campaign rally which was addressed by President Jonathan in Abeokuta, in pursuit of his re-election bid ahead of next month’s general elections, yesterday.

The question then is, why did President Jonathan feels it was necessary for him to visit a man who is not ready to reckon with the presidency under his watch?

Don't forget, former President Obasanjo recently in his memoirs entitled: 'Olusegun Obasanjo: My Watch,' lambasted President Jonathan when he described him as a an incompetent leader.

He even insisted that  President Jonathan has failed Nigerians and considered the current administration as inept and a colossal failure.

I think somebody should advice Jonathan to take the bull by the horn and take firm stand of issues.
