Reports filtering in indicates that, angry supporters of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, have blocked major roads within Port Harcourt, the state capital, questioning the conduct of Saturday's presidential elections in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The angry supporters were said to have marched to the INEC headquarters along Aba Road while dozens more were sighted to have been loitering around the Government House, waiting to have a chat with the state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and other top party stalwarts.
There is however, the presence of heavily-armed security personnel at INEC office while others patrolled the roads leading into the area.
There are high tension as the protesters were said to have declared that elections did not hold in most polling units in Rivers yesterday.
Specifically, the protesters declared that the only way to resolve the current crisis was to conduct a fresh election in the state.
