JONATHAN MUST COMPLETE HIS TWO TERM IN OFFICE, FIRST LADY INSISTS

Nigeria's first lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan today maintained that President Goodluck Jonathan would be in office for eight years to complete his two terms in office, no matter the opposition.

Speaking at the Peoples Democratic Party women rally, in Benin, Edo State, Mrs Jonathan argued that the presidency was occupied for eight years by other ‎geopolitical zone, even as she expressed wonders as to why the South South should be denied same opportunity.

The first lady equally pointed out that the president had performed well in various sectors, such as transport and education.

Describing President Jonathan's administration as a gender sensitive government, which according to her had given priority to women development through the appointment of several women in key positions, the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme and the YouWin initiative.
