Former military head of state, and Chairman of the National Peace committee on the 2015 presidential Election, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, today commended President Goodluck Jonathan for accepting defeat and congratulating General Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the Presidential Election.Speaking with State House correspondents after meeting with the president, Abdulsalami called on Nigerians to emulate president Jonathan and allow peace to reign in the country.
According to him, "Those celebrating and those sorrowing should always have the interest of the country at heart."
