The first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan today in Akure, the Ondo State capital, described presidential candidate of Nigeria's opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari as a dictator.
She also insisted that a vote for the opposition party, would amount to sending Nigerians to prison.
Addressing a mamoth crowd at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national rally, which took place at the Gani Fawehinmi freedom Arcade ground in Akure, the first lady argued that, "A dictator will always be a dictator no matter how his handlers white wash him.
"Nigerians should not make that mistake because a vote for Buhari is a vote to send people to Prison, while a vote for Jonathan is a vote for continuity, transformation and positive development."
The president's wife also described the APC as a party of liars, with a further position that, "The party has nothing to offer but to grab power by all means.
"Do not vote for the candidate of the APC who do not have regard for the women."
