Deputy Chairman, Finance Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme has described President Goodluck Jonathan as a sound leader with a vision to develop Nigeria further.
Besides, Olejeme argued that President Jonathan would continue to put democracy on top of his agenda with a view to strengthening the tenets of good governance.
According to Olejeme, "President Jonathan is a democrat and a passionate defender of human rights. He believes in servant leadership. For him, public service is a calling, and he will continue to serve the country from that perspective —, carefully, with humility and with a servant’s heart."
Olejeme commended President Jonathan for his leadership qualities and his efforts at expanding economic opportunities for Nigerians.
Olejeme added that, "President Goodluck Jonathan has a proven track record of innovative thinking," just as she attributed the level of development in the last four years to the president’s ability and strength in initiating people-oriented policies, which she said had improved the lives of people.
She assured that President Jonathan would continue to run a good government, provide Nigerians with social security, give women more opportunities in his government, create jobs, put Nigeria among the top countries in the world and build a Nigeria that is secured and prosperous.
Olejeme posited that, "President Jonathan will continue to invest in education, healthcare and transportation. He will increase his program on housing and urban development. He will improve the living conditions of the needy.
"He will widen our law enforcement in combating crime more effectively. He will protect our communities and offer more opportunities for our young people."
She also called on the international community to continue to support Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.
Olejeme further stated that, "Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is a transparently impartial father of all. He is caring, patriotic, generous and hard-working."
