Lagos state governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Jimi Agbaje says the party is more interested in the development of people.
Speaking when he visited the island communities of Ido-Oluwo-Ile, Ikaare-Ibeshe and Ilashe to commission some projects which included school and toilet facilities on behalf of President Goodluck Jonathan, Agbaje argued that, "The project does not have funding from the Lagos State Government or the local government," with an addition that the projects were in line with his vision for education in Lagos.
The governorship flagbearer further stated that, "What we have done today is in tandem with what we have always said, that if government neglects basic education, the life of the child cannot be straightened out.
"The fact is that without education, one will not attain a good standard of living. It is time for us to think very well which party is interested in the people’s development."
