It was indeed a day of joy for Pastors Taiwo and Nomthi Odukoya, alongside the entire family of The Fountain Of Life Church (TFOL), Ilupeju, Lagos when on Saturday June 28, 2014 the massive new church auditorium was dedicated.

Speaking at the dedication ceremony which started at about 12pm, special guest of honour and Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola (SAN) who was presented with a birthday gift by Senior Pastor of the TFOLC, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya expressed happiness with the leadership and the entire members of the church for considering the state as a place to invest in.

While tasking the gathering to live in harmony and earn each other’s trust so as to make the state retain its status as the centre of excellence, he insisted that the occasion is the type of partnership that should exist between the government and people of various faiths.

According to the governor, "Despite the trying time, if we stay together, we will overcome."

Also in his remark, presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo maintained that the new auditorium was an edifice of global standard, with an addition that the Church is a plus to any society and not just a building but,  “A center for unveiling the ways of God for getting things done.”

The Bishop revealed that the church has a role to play in contributing to the growth of the nation and enlightening the dark world on the right way to go.

The clergy also added that, "The church is in need today than ever before to push darkness out of the land.

Aside the Governor's wife Mrs Abimbola Fashola, others who also attended the dedication includes: Minister of Communication Technology, Mrs Mobola Johnson who was equally presented with her birthday gift, and the presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Mike Okonkwo.
