OLOROGUN-ETTI PRAISES AGBAJE, VOWS TO DELIVER LAGOS TO PDP

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Chief Ibrahim Babatunde Olorogun-Etti, today described the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje as a charismatic leader with a strong moral belief of how things should be.

According to a statement  personally signed by the PDP chieftain, "Mr. Jimi Agbaje is the perfect person for the governorship job. He will make the difference in the politics and development of the state."

Olorogun Etti who spoke in Lagos Island urged the electorate to assess Agbaje based on his antecedents and track record. He added that, "Jimi Agbaje is a large hearted philanthropist, a reputable humanist and a God fearing individual. He has the capacity to drive the state in the direction that we want it. So he is just the natural choice of the people."

Olorogun-Etti warned those working against Agbaje, urging traditional rulers, politicians, women and youths in the state to support the gubernatorial ambition of the PDP candidate. The PDP chieftain suggested that Agbaje would uphold the values of communal harmony that make Lagos State a unique model for us all.

He said, "He will drive productivity and growth. He will raise the standard of living in the state and improve the lot of everyone. He will lead the state to the next level. He will run an open government with accountability standards. He will deepen the mechanics of governance and service delivery.

"He will embark on a large housing development for low income earners. He will create the enabling environment for investors within and outside to invest in Lagos State in order to create more job opportunities for the people.

"He will improve water supply and distribution networks, boost the tourism sector, upgrade existing roads, and ensure that all roads in the state have adequate drainage system to aggressively check the menace of flooding and erosion.

"He will ensure lasting peace through security and good governance, decent education, adequate medical care and affordable housing. Agriculture will witness turn around. Youth employment and women empowerment will be given attention. Rapid results will be achieved in the economic sector. I look forward to his leadership in the state come May 29, 2015."
